In 2008, Horizons Industrial Development Company signed a contract to build the first Rapidwall manufacturing plant in the Middle East.

Located in the rapidly expanding city of Sohar in the Al Batinah Region of the Sultanate of Oman, the city is currently experiencing significant investment and economic shifts making it the focus of attention of many local and international investors and businessmen.

Civil work on the plant commenced in July of 2008 and the first Rapidwall panel, shown here, was manufactured in 1 of August 2009. The new plant has 3 tables and a computer aided cutting facility.
